Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Odoo Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our existing Odoo ERP system.
The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Odoo Version 14 and above, with the ability to develop custom modules, improve existing functionalities, resolve technical issues, and support end users in their daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Odoo Custom Development & Customization
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Build new functionalities and enhance existing workflows.
- Modify and upgrade existing modules to meet changing operational requirements.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, approval workflows, and automated processes.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external systems through APIs.
2. Odoo Modules & Functional Knowledge
The candidate must have development experience and functional understanding of the following Odoo modules:

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues within the Odoo ERP system.

Provide daily technical and functional support to Odoo users.

Assist employees in completing their daily tasks and resolving system-related difficulties.

Troubleshoot module errors, workflow issues, access permissions, and data inconsistencies.
-
Monitor system performance and optimize functionality to ensure smooth operations.

Identify the root causes of recurring issues and implement permanent solutions.
4. System Enhancements & Upgrades

Upgrade existing Odoo functionalities to improved and more efficient versions.
-
Develop new features based on departmental and management requirements.
-
Improve existing approval processes, automated notifications, and reporting capabilities.

Ensure compatibility of custom modules with Odoo Version 14 and newer versions.

Test and deploy changes safely without affecting existing business operations.
5. User Support & Coordination

Coordinate with different departments to understand their requirements.

Provide technical guidance and training to Odoo users when required.

Translate operational requirements into practical Odoo solutions.

Prepare technical documentation for custom developments and system modifications.
Technical Requirements
-
Strong experience with Odoo 14 or above (Community and Enterprise).

Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Strong knowledge of the Odoo ORM, models, views, security groups, access rights, and record rules.

Experience developing and customizing Odoo modules from scratch.

Knowledge of Odoo workflows, automated actions, scheduled actions, and email notifications.

Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

Good understanding of Linux server administration and Odoo deployment.

Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Nginx is an advantage.

Ability to troubleshoot technical errors, database issues, and system performance problems.

Understanding of Odoo multi-company operations is an advantage.

Experience with Odoo version migration and module upgrades is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven professional experience in Odoo development and customization.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple development and support tasks.

Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with both technical and non-technical users.

Experience supporting a live ERP environment is highly preferred.
Language Requirements
- English: Preferred and strongly recommended for daily communication and technical documentation.
- Arabic: An advantage.
- Hindi: An advantage.
