Job Overview
Works with the NI sales team to help explain and demonstrate the technological aspects of the product being marketed and trained intensively on sales techniques. Your goal is not just to sell a product but to fully explain to Client and existing customers how it solves their issues by providing advice and support. You help prospective Clients understand why our product is a better solution and best choice and continue to strive company and costumer expectation satisfaction standard by performing the below responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties
- Participate in the entire sales process – initial discovery, project review, design submission, component installation.
- Champion solution-based business development opportunities for some of our largest and most important costumers by using creativity and expertise to transform ambiguous and often complex opportunities into significant deals.
- Support customers from pre and post Client interaction throughout the sales process.
- Check and review tender documents, prepare offer/ proposal and costing sheet, review contracts, prepare material submittals, process shop drawing approvals and technical queries, finalize orders and transfer order intake to NI department.
- Provide alternative solutions as required to meet unique end-user, component, or installation criteria. Manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate.
- Provide support as the primary technical resource for the field sales force.
- Develop sales and marketing for key vertical market segments.
- Study and respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFQ/RFPs.
- Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations in industry forums, conferences and related events.
- Coordinate with other departments (NI Field, Projects, Finance, HSE etc..) to prepare all necessary information for submitting with the quotation/ tender (including arranging bonds, special approvals, etc).
- Interface with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timelines of solution delivery to individual end-users.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate Clients need to the R&D teams for future product enhancements.
- Reporting and maintaining records as per Company and legal requirements.
- Ensures adherence to the HSE policies and procedures, IMS and corporate standard and policies including compliance to legal and local regulation requirements.
- Perform other tasks assigned by your line manager which include but not limited to the above-mentioned duties.

Required Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical/ electrical engineer)
Professional Titles/Certifications (optional): Relevant certification will be an added advantage.
Experience: 2 to 4 of which 2 years in an elevator company in sales or design.
Knowledge/skills:
- Excellent negotiation and persuading skills
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills
- Solid technical background in SAP, VIEW and other Sales software relevant to the industry.
- Problem solving and conflict management skills
- Excellent communication (oral & written) skills
- With strong decision makings skills
Computer skills: Excellent/ Advanced
