Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud security controls across various cloud platforms to protect sensitive data and applications.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
- Analyze security events and alerts from SIEM platforms to detect and respond to threats effectively.
- Develop and execute security auditing procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Automate security tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and promote a security-conscious culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree.
- 1 to 3 years of progressive experience in information security roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in Network Security, Cloud Security, Firewall Management, and Intrusion Detection.
- Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, and Security Auditing.
- Experience with SIEM Platforms and major Cloud Providers.
- Solid understanding of security principles and risk management frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCIE Security certification.
