The Role :
The firm is looking for a qualified lawyer( Hybrid or On-site) with approximately 5 years' PQE and strong experience in disputes, ideally with exposure to international arbitration and/or complex commercial disputes.
The successful candidate will have:
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial arbitration gained at a leading international or well-regarded regional law firm.
• Strong experience handling international arbitration matters, with exposure to complex cross-border disputes.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and case management skills.
• A strong academic background and exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to manage matters proactively and work effectively within an international team.
• Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, international and intellectually rigorous environment.
• Admission in a common law jurisdiction (England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore or similar) is preferred.
Experience of working in the Middle East is advantageous but not essential.
• Working closely with clients, experts and counsel throughout all stages of arbitration proceedings.
• Assisting with mediation, settlement negotiations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
• Supporting business development initiatives and helping to build and maintain strong clients relationships.
You will be involved in all aspects of complex commercial arbitration matters, including:
• Acting on international and domestic arbitrations under major institutional rules, including ICC, DIAC, LCIA, SIAC and ad hoc proceedings.
• Advising clients on a wide range of cross-border commercial disputes across industries such as energy, construction, financial services, manufacturing and joint ventures.
• Preparing case strategies, drafting pleadings and submissions, attending hearings, and liaising with experts and witnesses, submissions and hearing bundles.
• Working closely with clients, experts and counsel throughout all stages of arbitration proceedings.
• Assisting with mediation, settlement negotiations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
• Supporting business development initiatives and helping to build and maintain strong client relationships.
