Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced International Trade Compliance Specialist / Trade Operations Analyst to manage international trade activities, import/export operations, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in customs procedures, trade regulations, shipping documentation, and cross-border logistics to ensure efficient and compliant international trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
- * Manage import and export operations in accordance with international trade regulations.
- Ensure compliance with customs requirements, trade policies, and shipping procedures.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, customs declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Monitor international shipments, delivery schedules, and customs clearance.
- Identify trade compliance risks and implement appropriate control measures.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements.
- Maintain accurate trade records and support compliance audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve cross-border logistics and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- * Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in international trade, import/export operations, or trade compliance.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, shipping procedures, and trade documentation.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, HS Codes, tariff classifications, and customs clearance.
- Understanding of import/export compliance and cross-border logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, trade management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
