JOB PURPOSE
The Internal Audit Associate is responsible for assisting in executing field work and reporting comprehensive findings to the internal audit team. He/she provides support to achieve Azadea’s audit management objectives and enhance the company's policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compose comprehensive segments of audit tests and reports, which are in line with audit principles and standards.
- Compose internal communications, spreadsheets, matrices, and other documents. Audit issues and follow up on outstanding tasks and matters to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Identify, investigate, and rectify errors in data to ensure the accuracy of information.
- Coordinate with relevant staff and departments to extract necessary data and information through analysis and presentation.
- Monitor the precision, timeliness, and relevance of financial and internal controls information delivered to audit management.
- Collaborate with internal audit team members to ensure that proper fieldwork audits are conducted, and all project risks are identified and analyzed.
- Contribute to the development of work plans, including project risk assessment and audit programs.
- Prepare presentations on topics related to risk, internal control, and audit as needed.
- Prepare and maintain working papers adequately documenting the procedures performed.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Knowledge Skills
- Basic knowledge of IT and auditing.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CIA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus or candidate should be willing to pursue a professional qualification.
EXPERIENCE
- Zero to two years of experience in a similar role. Retail experience is a plus.
