Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Installation Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in furniture installation, carpentry works, and wooden products, preferably with previous experience in furniture factories, joinery workshops, or interior fit-out companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing furniture and wooden components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble various types of furniture and wooden products at project sites.
- Install wardrobes, cabinets, kitchens, doors, storage units, wall panels, and other wooden fixtures.
- Read and understand carpentry drawings, shop drawings, and installation instructions.
- Perform cutting, fitting, assembling, and finishing of wooden components when required.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate measurements, alignment, leveling, and proper fitting during installation.
- Make necessary adjustments and modifications at site to ensure proper installation.
- Work with different materials, including MDF, HDF, plywood, natural wood, and other wood-based materials.
- Inspect furniture and wooden components before installation to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with production, installation teams, supervisors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify and resolve installation issues and technical problems on site.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Complete installation work within the required schedule and project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in carpentry and furniture installation.
- Previous experience in a furniture factory, joinery workshop, woodworking company, or interior fit-out company is preferred.
- Strong experience in furniture assembly and installation.
- Good knowledge of woodworking materials and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and shop drawings.
- Proficient in using carpentry hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
