The Global Total Rewards Lead is a senior individual contributor who shapes the global Total Rewards strategy and serves as the organisation’s subject matter expert for compensation, benefits, job architecture, and pay governance. Operating with significant autonomy, this role influences executive decision-making, partners with senior HR and business leaders, and leads enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen Hexagon’s ability to attract, retain, and reward world-class talent.
Responsibilities
- Own the global Total Rewards strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business and talent priorities.
- Act as the enterprise authority on global compensation philosophy, job architecture, grading, executive and broad-based compensation governance.
- Influence senior executives and HR leadership through market insights, analytics, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead the design and governance of global salary structures, job families, pay ranges, incentive frameworks, and harmonisation across regions.
- Provide strategic leadership for global pay transparency, ensuring readiness for evolving legislation including the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
- Lead Total Rewards due diligence, valuation support, and integration strategy for mergers, acquisitions, and organisational transformations.
- Establish enterprise governance for annual compensation planning, promotion reviews, and market pricing.
- Develop executive dashboards, predictive workforce analytics, and Board-ready reporting.
- Sponsor complex cross-functional global programmes while influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Coach HR Business Partners and regional Total Rewards practitioners on compensation strategy and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Typically 10 – 15+ years of progressive global Total Rewards experience.
- Deep expertise across compensation strategy, global benefits, job architecture, executive compensation support, and governance.
- Significant experience leading the Total Rewards workstream for global M&A and organisational transformation.
- Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and pay transparency legislation.
- Advanced analytical capability with HRIS, market pricing, workforce analytics, and compensation modelling.
- Experience influencing executive leadership in a complex global matrix organisation.
- SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central and Compensation) strongly preferred.
- CCP, GRP, or equivalent certification preferred.
