We're hiring: Estimation, Tendering & Cost Control Engineer

Elsherif Studio is a Cairo-based luxury interior design and design-build firm delivering high-end residential projects across Egypt's premium compounds, and now expanding into Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
We're looking for an Estimation, Tendering & Cost Control Engineer to own the numbers on our projects, from the first quotation to the final account.
What you'll do
• Prepare BOQs and detailed cost estimates for luxury fit-out and design-build projects
• Maintain our pricing database for materials, labor, and subcontractor rates
• Prepare tender submissions and pre-qualification packages for clients and developers
• Collect and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Prepare client payment certificates and review subcontractor certificates against actual site progress
• Price variation orders before work starts on site
• Track project budgets and costs, and prepare monthly cost reports
• Support final account closure with clients and subcontractors
What you bring
• BSc in Civil or Architectural Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or payment certificates
• Experience in finishing or fit-out works is required; luxury residential or hospitality is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to read AutoCAD drawings
• Good written English
Strong advantage
• Experience with major Egyptian developers or GCC contractors
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts
• Experience with CostX, Planswift, or an ERP system
