About the Role
The successful candidate will support the implementation of ESG initiatives, ESG reporting and disclosures, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and the integration of sustainability considerations across the Bank’s activities. The role offers an opportunity to work across multiple business functions and contribute to the development of the Bank’s ESG and sustainability practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the Bank’s ESG strategy, policies, initiatives, and action plans.
- Collect, analyze, validate, and maintain ESG data and performance indicators across relevant business units and functions.
- Support the preparation of ESG, sustainability, and regulatory disclosures and reports.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on ESG trends, regulatory developments, reporting standards, and banking-sector best practices.
- Support the assessment of ESG risks and opportunities and their potential impact on the Bank.
- Assist in monitoring ESG KPIs, targets, commitments, and performance against established objectives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate ESG data collection and reporting.
- Support initiatives related to climate change, sustainable finance, responsible banking, social impact, and corporate governance.
- Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, analysis, and management reports related to ESG performance.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ESG policies, processes, and internal controls.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement with internal teams, external advisors, regulators, and other relevant parties.
- Stay informed of emerging ESG regulations, frameworks, and market practices relevant to the banking sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years of relevant professional experience in ESG, sustainability, risk, compliance, reporting, consulting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and standards such as GRI, ISSB/IFRS Sustainability Standards, TCFD, SASB, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear insights.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
Required Skills

- Experience in a consulting environment or exposure to ESG advisory, sustainability reporting, risk management, or financial-sector projects will be considered an advantage.
