Key Responsibilities – Equipment Technician
- Perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, bearings, guide rails, drive systems, and equipment structures.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues, including sensors, limit switches, contactors, frequency inverter alarms, and motor wiring.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records and recommend improvements for recurring equipment failures.
- Perform spare parts replacement and support spare parts inventory monitoring.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and restore production with minimum downtime.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills with the ability to work independently.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read simple electrical diagrams are preferred.
- Ability to use basic electrical testing tools, such as a multimeter.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle emergency maintenance and breakdowns in a production environment.
- Electrician, welding, or special equipment operation certificates are preferred.
