Role Description
The Electrical Projects Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut, responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple electrical projects from initiation through testing, commissioning, and handover. The role requires strong technical and project management experience, particularly across Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee MV and LV electrical works, including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, cabling, and related systems
- Manage electrical projects from planning and mobilization through execution, testing, commissioning, and handover
- Manage and supervise site installation and testing activities and ensure compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements across multiple projects
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, costs, and overall project performance
- Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications, technical submittals, and project documentation
- Identify and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues throughout project execution
- Prepare progress reports and support tender, bid, BOQ, and cost-estimation activities
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, applicable standards, and client expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in electrical contracting and project management.
- Strong practical experience with Medium Voltage (MV) is a MUST.
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale electrical projects, preferably within EPC, MEP, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure environments.
- Experience in project planning, budgeting, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and client management skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic, and French (is an advantage)
