Company Description Al-Fajar International Business LLC (KPS – Kintel Power Solutions) provides comprehensive electrical engineering services, including substation testing and commissioning, relay testing and protection, and power system design. The company also delivers MEP design, electrical trading and contracting, and installation of electrical equipment for diverse industrial and commercial projects. Its services extend to preventive maintenance, emergency electrical services, and instrument calibration, supporting reliable and safe operations for clients. KPS operates in Oman and India, offering regional expertise and technical support across multiple locations.

Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work on-site in Oman in a full-time capacity, supporting electrical projects from design through implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and reviewing electrical designs and layouts, participating in power system and power distribution planning, and assisting with testing and commissioning activities as required. The role involves preparing technical documentation and reports, coordinating with project managers, technicians, and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The Electrical Engineer will also be expected to diagnose and resolve electrical issues, support preventive maintenance initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to practical field situations.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including preparation of schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
Experience with Power Systems, including analysis, protection coordination, and system reliability assessments.
Knowledge of Power Distribution networks, equipment selection, and load calculations.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and test reports.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in both design and field work.
Previous experience in testing, commissioning, or maintenance of electrical installations is an advantage
