Role Description The Electrical BIM Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Asyūţ. The person in this position will develop, model, and coordinate electrical systems within BIM platforms, ensuring accurate and clash-free designs for building projects. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, collaborating with MEP, architectural, and civil teams, and updating models according to design changes and site feedback. The role involves interpreting project specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and codes, and participating in coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders. The Electrical BIM Engineer will also support the preparation of documentation, shop drawings, and as-built models to facilitate smooth construction and handover.
Qualifications
* Ability to work confidently with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for electrical systems.
* Strong skills in preparing, reading, and revising construction drawings and related technical documentation.
* Experience collaborating within Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams on coordinated building services designs.
* Understanding of architecture and civil engineering principles as they relate to integrated building design.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
* Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar tools).
* Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
