Role Purpose
The Document Controller ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant management of all project documentation across Revival Contracting’s construction and fit‑out projects. Key Responsibilities
- Document Lifecycle Management — Register, track, distribute, and archive all project documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals, method statements, inspection reports).
- Revision & Version Control — Maintain strict control of revisions; ensure teams use the latest approved documents.
- EDMS Operation — Manage uploads, workflows, metadata, and approvals in EDMS platforms (Aconex, Procore, or internal systems).
- Transmittals & Correspondence — Prepare and issue transmittals; maintain logs for incoming/outgoing documentation.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness — Maintain traceable records aligned with client procedures and Saudi regulatory requirements.
- Project Coordination — Support PM, technical, QA/QC, procurement, and subcontractors with accurate documentation.
- Handover Documentation — Compile O&M manuals, as‑built documentation, and close‑out packages.
- Template & Numbering Systems — Apply Revival Contracting’s document numbering, naming conventions, and templates.
- Confidentiality & Access Control — Ensure controlled access to sensitive documents.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Construction Documentation Knowledge — Understanding of drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, QA/QC reports.
- EDMS Proficiency — Experience with Aconex, Procore, BIM‑related document workflows.
