Key Responsibilities
As an Information Security Officer, you will play a central role in managing, coordinating, and continuously developing information security across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for information security matters within the institution and in relation to external service providers and third parties
- Ensuring transparency and implementation of information security objectives and measures based on the IT strategy, information security policy, and internal security guidelines
- Monitoring and reviewing compliance with applicable information security requirements and internal policies
- Advising senior management on the development, implementation, and regular review of information security policies and frameworks
- Supporting management in identifying and addressing potential conflicts between business objectives and information security requirements
- Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving information security policies, guidelines, and related internal regulations
- Managing and coordinating information security processes across the organization
- Overseeing the involvement and management of IT service providers with regard to information security requirements
- Supporting the development and regular review of contingency and business continuity plans from an information security perspective
- Initiating, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation of appropriate information security measures
- Ensuring that information security requirements are properly considered and implemented within projects
- Acting as the central point of contact for internal and external information security-related matters
- Investigating and assessing information security incidents and reporting relevant findings to senior management
- Planning and coordinating information security awareness initiatives, training sessions, and employee education programs
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Information Security, Information Security Management, or a comparable field
- Strong knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, preferably within the financial services sector
- Proven experience in project management and the implementation of complex information security initiatives
- Relevant professional certification in information security, such as Certified Information Security Officer or an equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and consulting skills, including the ability to interact confidently with senior management
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent written and spoken Chinese
- German language skills are considered an advantage
