Role Description The CCTV Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves monitoring live and recorded CCTV footage to identify and report security incidents, safety hazards, and operational irregularities in a timely manner. The CCTV Operator logs events, maintains accurate surveillance records, and escalates issues according to established procedures and response protocols. Daily tasks include checking camera functionality, coordinating with security and operations teams, and assisting in incident investigations with clear, factual reporting. The role also requires adherence to confidentiality and data protection policies, as well as compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
* Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and the ability to remain focused during extended monitoring periods.
* Basic technical skills for operating CCTV systems, control room equipment, and related software applications.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills for incident reporting and coordination with security and operations teams.
* Understanding of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
* Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
* Previous experience in a control room, security, or surveillance environment is an advantage.
* Knowledge of safety standards in industrial or utility settings is beneficial.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security or surveillance is preferred.
