Role Description The BIM Architect will work on-site in Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon, in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and managing BIM models, producing and updating architectural and construction drawings, and coordinating design information across disciplines. The role involves preparing technical documentation and submittals, ensuring drawings and models comply with project standards, building codes, and client requirements. The BIM Architect will support design reviews, participate in coordination meetings, and help resolve clashes or discrepancies in the digital models. The position also includes maintaining BIM libraries, applying best practices for data management, and contributing to continuous improvement of workflows and templates.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture, including design principles and building codes.
- Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for various project stages.
- Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes.
- Ability to prepare and review Submittals and technical documentation.
- Experience with BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Familiarity with local and international construction standards and regulations is an advantage.
- Previous experience in an architectural or engineering office, preferably in BIM-oriented projects.
