Use Redis for caching and other suitable performance and data-access use cases.
-
Implement secure authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and protection of sensitive financial data.
-
Apply appropriate controls for transaction reconciliation, audit trails, error handling, and monitoring.
-
Deploy and maintain backend services in AWS environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
-
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support.
-
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system architecture, performance, scalability, availability, and development workflows.
-
Follow secure software development practices and contribute to the reliability of SWAP’s financial services.

-
Experience integrating with third-party payment gateways, banks, mobile money APIs, or remittance providers.
-
Understanding of financial transaction lifecycles, settlement, reconciliation, ledger systems, and idempotent payment processing.
-
Experience with asynchronous messaging systems, event-driven architecture, or distributed transaction patterns.
