Job Purpose
Support the origination and raising of capital for the Company fund products from investors across the GCC, with primary responsibility for developing investor relationships, originating and closing commitments, and maintaining a qualified fund-raising pipeline.
The Associate is expected to leverage an established network of family offices, HNWIs, private banks, wealth platforms, insurers and corporates across the GCC, while supporting ongoing investor relations activities and meeting the professional conduct and control standards of a DFSA-regulated investment firm.
Key Accountabilities
Fund-raising & Capital Origination
• Originate and close investor commitments from family offices, HNWIs, private banks, wealth platforms, insurers and corporates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and other relevant GCC markets.
• Raise capital across closed-end real estate and private equity funds, open-ended and evergreen vehicles, Sharia-compliant structures, and co-investment and deal-by-deal syndications.
• Develop new investor relationships while leveraging and expanding an established network of prospective investors and intermediaries.
• Present DGCP’s investment strategies, fund products and opportunities to prospective investors and senior decision-makers.
Investor Pipeline Management
• Build, maintain and actively manage a qualified investor pipeline from initial engagement through due diligence, subscription and closing.
• Develop appropriate engagement and follow-up strategies for prospective investors and maintain momentum throughout the fund-raising process.
• Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including investor interactions, pipeline status, expected commitments and next actions.
• Prepare regular fund-raising pipeline reports, forecasts and progress updates for senior management.
Investor Due Diligence & Onboarding
• Coordinate responses to investor due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), requests for information and related diligence requirements.
• Work with investment, legal, compliance, finance and other relevant functions to provide accurate and timely information to prospective investors.
• Support the investor subscription and onboarding process, ensuring required documentation and internal processes are completed appropriately.
Investor Relations
• Support ongoing relationships with existing investors through regular communication, reporting and investment updates.
• Coordinate responses to investor enquiries and ensure appropriate follow-up on requests and action items.
• Support re-up discussions and identify opportunities for existing investors to participate in new funds, co-investments and other DGCP products.
Stakeholder Management
• Build trusted relationships with investors, intermediaries, private banks, wealth platforms and other relevant market participants.
• Work closely with DGCP’s investment and senior management teams to ensure investor messaging and fund-raising activities are aligned with approved investment strategies and materials.
• Represent DGCP professionally at investor meetings, conferences, industry events and other relevant business-development forums.
Qualifications, Experience and Core Competencies
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate or a related discipline. CFA, CAIA or relevant postgraduate study is advantageous.
Minimum Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in fund-raising, capital raising, investor relations or institutional/private wealth distribution, ideally within real estate, private equity or alternative asset management.
Demonstrable track record of personally originating and closing investor commitments for fund products, supported by an established and active network of family offices, HNWIs, private banks, wealth platforms, insurers and/or corporates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and/or Bahrain.

Role-Specific Knowledge
Strong understanding of alternative investment fund-raising and investor engagement, including familiarity with closed-end, open-ended and evergreen funds, Sharia-compliant structures, co-investments and deal-by-deal syndications.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the confidence and credibility to engage senior decision-makers, family offices, HNWIs and institutional investors.
Self-starting and commercially driven, with the ability to operate effectively within a lean, entrepreneurial team and manage multiple investor relationships and fund-raising processes concurrently.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of professional conduct, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, investor communications and control requirements relevant to a DFSA-regulated investment management business. Role-specific technical and regulatory knowledge must be kept current through appropriate continuing professional development.
