Role Description The Video Editor at The Nest is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. This role is responsible for editing video content that showcases The Nest’s workspaces, services, and community, including promotional videos, social media content, and client-focused materials. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, editing and enhancing audio and visuals, applying color grading, and integrating motion graphics or static graphics as needed. The Video Editor collaborates with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand project goals, maintain brand consistency, and deliver high-quality content on schedule. The role also involves organizing media assets, managing file versions, and staying current with video trends and best practices.
Qualifications * Ability to manage end-to-end Video Production and Video Editing, from raw footage to final output.
* Strong skills in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics.
* Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and on-screen text.
* Experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
* Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail in pacing, framing, and sound.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and respond to feedback constructively.
* Organizational skills for managing multiple projects, deadlines, and digital assets.
* Relevant education or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; comparable professional experience is also valued.
