Cedreon is building a privacy-first AI workspace for law firms, banks, clinics and consultancies. Teams can use leading models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Mistral while sensitive client data is detected and protected before leaving their environment.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our small team and work across the full product: desktop, web, backend, AI agents, infrastructure and our privacy screening engine.
What you’ll work on
- Desktop + web apps with React / Electron
- Backend services and APIs with Python / FastAPI
- LLM agents, tool calling, streaming and document workflows
- Sensitive-data detection and masking with NLP / NER
- Production infrastructure, deployments and server configuration
- Authentication, access control and API-key security
- Encryption in transit and at rest, secrets management and key handling
- Secure storage, database hardening, backups and recovery
- Logging, monitoring, audit trails and incident debugging
- Security reviews across the application and infrastructure stack
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years building production software
- Strong TypeScript + Python
- Solid React experience
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agent systems
- Comfortable owning backend infrastructure and production systems
- Good understanding of application security, encryption, authentication and cloud/server security
- Daily use of AI coding agents, with strong judgment when reviewing their output
- High ownership: scope, build, deploy and improve features end-to-end
- Strong attention to correctness, privacy and security
- English required
Nice to have
Electron, FastAPI, Docker, Linux, PostgreSQL, reverse proxies, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, NLP/NER, ONNX, MCP, document processing, GDPR/FADP experience, or German.
