ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager, Private Label & Sourcing is responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement and sourcing strategy for HSA Group's private label and trading product portfolio. This role will establish the procurement ownership for private label categories, build supplier KPI frameworks, and drive an active innovation funnel to grow HSA's own-brand product range across relevant business units. The role is based in Cairo and operates within the Egypt-Yemen co-managed procurement hub structure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the procurement strategy and execution for all private label and trading categories across HSA Group's BUs.
- Develop and implement a private label sourcing roadmap, identifying new product opportunities and supplier partnerships to grow the portfolio.
- Build and manage an active innovation funnel in collaboration with marketing, R&D, and commercial teams, bringing new private label products to market.
- Establish supplier KPI frameworks, scorecards, and SLA structures for all private label and trading vendors.
- Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and development processes, including factory audits and product compliance checks.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
- Manage the RFQ/RFP process for new private label tenders and annual contract renewals.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure private label products meet HSA's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor private label strategies, and pricing dynamics to inform sourcing decisions.
- Drive spend analytics and savings reporting for the private label and trading category portfolio.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and inventory optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3–5 years in private label sourcing or FMCG trading categories.
- Strong understanding of private label product development, supplier management, and brand compliance.
- Experience building supplier KPI frameworks and managing supplier performance in a structured environment.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP / SAP Ariba or equivalent procurement systems.
- Excellent negotiation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with international sourcing (China, Turkey, GCC) is a strong advantage.
