Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Prefecture of Casablanca. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms to build brand awareness and support Viacore’s positioning in the investment and business advisory space. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing social media strategies, managing content calendars, writing and editing posts, coordinating visuals with design resources, and optimizing content for engagement and reach. The Social Media Manager will monitor performance analytics, adjust campaigns based on data, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with broader marketing and business objectives. The role also involves community management, including responding to comments and messages, and staying informed about relevant industry trends and platforms to keep Viacore’s digital presence current and compelling.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing professional accounts and campaigns.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication and Writing skills, including the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences and platforms.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills, including planning editorial calendars and aligning content with brand and business goals.
- Candidates should possess basic analytics and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret social media metrics and suggest improvements.
- Relevant experience in digital marketing, brand management, or online community building is beneficial.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram) and social media management tools is beneficial.
- A background in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English and French is highly beneficial; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus.
