MDSL (an ITG Holding company) provides solutions across Core Banking, Compliance & Risk Management, Corporate & Retail Lending, Digital Banking, Electronic Signature Verification, and EFT & Payment Systems, including ATM/POS switching, card management, fraud management, and card issuance solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience in ATM and payment switching systems, with hands-on knowledge of C++, Pro*C, SQL, Unix, ISO 8583, and banking/payment interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, test, and support ATM transaction flows for NCR, Wincor, and Diebold ATMs, including cash withdrawal, cash deposit, cheque deposit, cardless, contactless, and other transaction types.
- Develop and support IST/Switch modules on Unix using C++, Pro*C, and SQL.
- Develop and maintain ISO 8583 interfaces connecting payment systems with core banking systems, fraud management systems, payment networks, and other endpoints.
- Work on transaction flows supporting ATM, POS, e-commerce, and mobile/contactless payment transactions, including Apple Pay.
- Implement and maintain transaction validation, authorization, and transaction-limit management processes.
- Develop and support interfaces for Base2 reconciliation, prepaid services, cardless transactions, and SMS services.
- Integrate systems using REST and SOAP APIs, working with both JSON and XML formats.
- Perform testing using FINSIM simulator and physical ATMs, including onsite testing when required.
- Provide remote and onsite technical support for ATM and payment-related solutions.
- Perform partial installations, full upgrades, and configuration of IST Switch.
- Provide technical support for FIS NetXMS monitoring tools.
- Support and troubleshoot FIS Memento fraud management applications.
- Collaborate with technical, functional, and project teams to investigate issues, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions across concurrent projects.
- Participate in troubleshooting, system maintenance, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to implemented solutions and configurations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in banking, payments, ATM, POS, switching, or financial technology solutions is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of ISO 8583 and financial transaction processing.
- Experience with ATM/POS switching systems, preferably IST/Switch.
- Experience with ATM transaction flows and/or ATM simulators is an advantage.
- Experience with system integration and interfaces between payment systems, core banking systems, fraud management systems, and payment networks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with different teams.
- Willingness to provide remote and onsite technical support when required.
