Role Description The Senior Architect will lead architectural design projects from concept through detailed design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. This full-time, on-site role in Sharjah Emirate involves coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal engineering teams to develop design solutions, review drawings, and manage design changes. The Senior Architect will guide junior staff, review and approve design deliverables, oversee integration of architectural work with structural and MEP disciplines, and support project meetings and presentations. Daily responsibilities include producing and reviewing drawings and specifications, monitoring project progress, resolving design issues, and contributing to quality assurance and improvement of design standards.
Qualifications
- * Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale projects.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholder communication.
- Understanding of Integration between architectural design and other technical disciplines (e.g., structural, MEP) to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Familiarity with Software Development concepts and design tools workflows as they relate to BIM, CAD, and digital collaboration environments.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) and strong technical drawing skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field, with eligibility to work as a licensed/registered architect as per local regulations.
- Experience working in the GCC or similar regulatory environments, with knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
- Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to design quality and safety.
