Sales Manager (Automotive)
Responsibilities
- Years of experience: ~ 20 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall sales plan across Retail, Fleet, and Wholesale channels.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by model, channel, branch, and salesperson.
- Monitor daily sales performance, pipeline, bookings, invoicing, and deliveries against targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts and provide management with regular performance reports and corrective action plans.
- Drive achievement of volume, revenue, gross margin, and market-share objectives.
Retail Sales
- Manage showroom and branch retail sales performance.
- Ensure effective lead management, follow-up, conversion, and closing.
- Monitor salesperson productivity and individual target achievement.
- Maintain appropriate showroom standards and customer experience.
- Coordinate test drives, quotations, financing options, booking, invoicing, and vehicle delivery.
- Manage discounts and special deals within approved commercial policies.
Fleet & Corporate
- Develop and manage relationships with corporate customers, government entities, rental/leasing companies, and key accounts.
- Identify fleet opportunities and maintain an active corporate sales pipeline.
- Manage tenders, RFQs, commercial proposals, negotiations, and framework agreements.
- Develop fleet pricing and volume-based commercial offers in coordination with management.
- Maintain and grow strategic fleet accounts and repeat business.
Wholesale / Dealer Network
- Develop and manage relationships with dealers, sub-dealers, traders, and wholesale accounts.
- Set wholesale targets and manage vehicle allocation by account.
- Negotiate volume commitments, commercial terms, and payment conditions.
- Monitor dealer stock, sell-in, sell-out, and aging inventory.
- Ensure wholesale activities support the brand without negatively affecting retail pricing or positioning.
