Role Description The Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Sunrise Tucana Resort Grand Select in Qesm El Zawya El Hamra. This role is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, supervising service standards, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. The Restaurant Manager monitors food and beverage quality, coordinates with the kitchen and bar teams, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Additional responsibilities include handling guest feedback, supporting hiring and onboarding of restaurant team members, managing inventory and cost controls, and contributing to menu planning and promotional activities. The role requires leading by example on the floor, supporting team development, and maintaining smooth, efficient service throughout all shifts.
Qualifications
* Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a proven ability to handle guest feedback professionally.
* Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including menu understanding, quality control, and coordination with kitchen and bar teams.
* Demonstrated Hiring and team leadership experience, including training, performance coaching, and building effective service teams.
* Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and respectfully with guests, colleagues, and senior management.
* Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic financial controls (cost management, budgeting, and reporting).
* Relevant hospitality or restaurant management education or certifications are an advantage.
