Position Summary
The QHSE Coordinator plays a vital role in upholding quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across operations. This position is responsible for planning field audits, addressing non-conformances, and implementing effective corrective measures to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality work environment.
Responsibilities
- Compliance & Auditing: Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Review site auditor reports to guarantee all locations meet high-quality requirements for client satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential workplace hazards. Investigate and analyze non-conformances, accidents, and near-misses to implement effective corrective actions.
- Field Operations: Perform regular inspections of PPE, tools, vehicles, warehouses, and offices. Report and follow up with Zone Managers regarding any anomalies identified by QHSE auditors.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and update health, safety, and environmental records. Oversee environmental compliance and participate in CO2 emission data collection and calculations.
- Culture & Training: Promote a proactive safety culture by driving employee engagement. Conduct awareness sessions to educate employees on workplace hazards and coordinate emergency response procedures.
- Coordination: Organize and facilitate quarterly Safety, Health, and Environment committee meetings.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
