**Salem Pack is looking for a capable, hands-on PPC Specialist to coordinate and follow up on production orders across our packaging operations. The role will help ensure that each job is properly scheduled, monitored, and completed on time, with clear communication between production, sales, purchasing, warehouse, and quality teams.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and update production schedules based on confirmed orders, priorities, and available capacity.
Follow each order from production release through completion and packing.
Coordinate daily with production departments to check job progress and address delays.
Monitor production targets, deadlines, work-in-progress, and bottlenecks.
Coordinate material and packaging requirements with purchasing and warehouse teams.
Keep sales updated on order status and expected completion dates.
Maintain accurate production plans, job records, and daily progress reports.
Identify recurring planning or delivery issues and recommend practical improvements.
Make sure production priorities and changes are communicated clearly to the relevant teams.
Requirements
Previous experience in production planning, production control, or factory coordination.
Experience in a manufacturing environment; packaging experience is an advantage.
Strong follow-up, organization, and communication skills.
Comfortable working with Excel and production reports; ERP experience is an advantage.
Able to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced factory environment.
Engineering or relevant university degree is preferred.**
