Job DescriptionAbout Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About The PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Procurement Team.ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Oversee Buyers, assign tasks, and monitor performance
- Creation, development and execution of quotations and RFPs to ensure the most competitive proposals are obtained
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is achieved
- Maintain awareness of the marketplace, understand relevant categories and end-user requirements, and ensure those requirements are fulfilled
- Contribute positively to the bottom line of the organization
- Participate in Vendor Management and Supplier Relationship Management, ensuring suppliers adhere to the highest performance standards
- Develop category strategies where necessary to minimize marketplace risks
- Mentor, train and develop the Buyers
- Utilize reports in decision-making
- Create, maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with end-user departments to assess their needs and requirements and make recommendations that achieve the best overall Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Develop, monitor and recommend system process improvements
- Assist with the development and maintenance of departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Train end users on the fundamentals of the procure-to-pay process, including the creation of purchase requisitions
- Participate in training and other activities to facilitate high team performance
- Provide training to team members by enhancing product knowledge, system applications and negotiation skills
- Interact with internal and external customers professionally and positively
About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Sourcing and Supply Management, or Hospitality Management. APICS, ISM or MCIPS certification is an advantage
- Minimum of three years’ procurement management experience in a large organization
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, BirchStreet, and SharePoint
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in negotiation
- Able to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and confident
