Job Title: Planning Section Head
Department: Projects Control
Reports to: Projects Control Director
Scope: Infrastructure and Industrial Projects

Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop the planning section, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring team performance to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
Oversee the development and review of detailed project schedules and baseline programs, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
Direct the monitoring, updating, and evaluation of project progress, identifying potential delays and approving mitigation strategies.
Oversee delay analysis using methods such as Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and review and assess Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Collaborate with project managers, cost controllers, and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
Review and approve budget cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
Lead planning meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts with internal and external stakeholders, escalating critical issues to the Projects Control Senior Manager when needed.
Coach and mentor planning engineers through performance feedback and skill development.
Define and standardize planning methodologies, tools, and reporting practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Report regularly to the Projects Control Senior Manager on project progress, schedule risks, and team performance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Experience: 8 to 12 years in project planning, including at least 3 years in a team leadership or supervisory role.
Skills: Expertise in Power BI is a must; proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
