Role Description The Pharmacy Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations, including assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, preparing and labeling medications, and ensuring accurate documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, organizing stock, checking expiry dates, and supporting the cleanliness and safety of the pharmacy environment. The role also requires providing courteous customer service, answering inquiries in person and by phone, and guiding customers to appropriate products and services. The Pharmacy Assistant will collaborate with pharmacists, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient service and a positive experience for all clients.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess skills related to Pharmacy and Prescription handling, including basic knowledge of medications and the ability to support safe dispensing processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management, including stock organization, tracking, and replenishment of pharmaceutical and personal care products.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Phone Etiquette skills to handle inquiries, provide guidance, and support patients and customers professionally.
- Relevant education in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related healthcare field (diploma or degree) is preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures are essential.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, collaborate within a team, and communicate clearly in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare environment is beneficial.
