Parts Pricing & Regulatory Strategy Manager
Job Purpose
The European Parts Pricing & Regulatory Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and managing the pricing strategy for aftersales parts across European markets, while ensuring that parts imported from China and placed on the European market comply with applicable EU and local regulatory requirements.
The role combines parts pricing, commercial strategy, regulatory monitoring, market access, compliance implementation and regulatory cost management.
The position will monitor relevant European regulatory developments, assess their potential impact on parts sourcing, cost, logistics and pricing, and coordinate with China HQ, suppliers and European functions to ensure regulatory requirements are effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities
1. European Parts Pricing Strategy
- Develop and implement European aftersales parts pricing strategies aligned with XPeng's brand positioning, business objectives and market conditions.
- Establish pricing models based on part cost, logistics cost, regulatory-related costs, target margin, competitor pricing and market positioning.
- Define and maintain appropriate pricing structures and price corridors across European markets.
- Develop pricing strategies by market, vehicle model, parts category and customer/dealer segment where appropriate.
- Conduct regular pricing reviews and recommend price adjustments based on market changes, cost changes and business performance.
- Support pricing strategy for new models, new parts, accessories, service packages and phase-out parts.
2. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct regular benchmarking of OEM and aftermarket parts prices across European markets.
- Monitor competitor pricing, market positioning and significant market price changes
- Analyze pricing competitiveness and identify price gaps and potential pricing opportunities.
- Provide pricing recommendations based on market intelligence and commercial analysis.
3. Cost & Profitability Management
- Analyze the complete cost structure of European parts, including purchase cost, transportation, customs, environmental and regulatory-related costs where applicable.
- Establish target margins and monitor actual gross margin performance by part category and market.
- Identify high-volume, low-margin and high-margin parts and develop corresponding pricing actions.
4. European Market Access & Regulatory Management
- Monitor EU and local European regulatory developments that may affect automotive spare parts imported from China.
- Identify new and changing requirements related to environmental protection, carbon emissions, packaging, recycling, sustainability and supply-chain due diligence.
- Assess whether new regulatory requirements may impact the sourcing, importation, distribution or sale of specific parts.
- Follow up on regulatory action plans and identify gaps or delays.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive parts pricing or commercial strategy
- Experience in European multi-country business operations is highly preferred
- Good understanding of the European regulatory environment and the ability to translate applicable requirements into practical business actions
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills
- Fluent in English
