Role Description The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel operations during evening and overnight shifts to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient service. This full-time, on-site role is located in Giza and includes supervising front desk activities, handling guest check-in and check-out, and resolving guest issues or special requests promptly. The Night Manager monitors property security, ensures compliance with hotel policies, and coordinates with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments as needed. The role also involves managing night audit procedures, reviewing daily reports, and preparing handovers for daytime management. The Night Manager acts as the primary point of contact for guests during the night, maintaining high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and service quality.
Qualifications
- * Experience in hotel front office or guest services, including supervising night shifts and coordinating daily operations.
- Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and communication skills to handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints effectively.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in reporting, documentation, and night audit procedures.
- Ability to lead and motivate night staff, foster a collaborative team environment, and maintain professional conduct under pressure.
- Basic financial and administrative skills, including familiarity with night audit processes, billing, and cash handling.
- Comfort working with hotel property management systems (PMS), reservation platforms, and standard office software.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Prior experience in hospitality or a related field; a diploma or degree in hospitality management or business is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to international guests are beneficial.
