We're hiring: Junior Trader – French-speaking markets
Europa Recruitment is looking for a Junior Trader to join the commercial trade team of our client, an established international company in commodity trading.
You'll be responsible for French-speaking markets, from the office near Eindhoven.
About the role
As a Junior Trader, you'll develop new business and maintain existing customer and supplier relationships. Your mission is to spot opportunities others miss, create profitable business and turn it into successful international deals.
This role suits someone with a competitive mindset who enjoys winning, thrives on responsibility and is motivated by commercial results.
You also know that lasting success is never achieved alone. You know when to compete, when to collaborate, and how to build long-term partnerships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
You'll work in a fast-moving international environment where markets change daily, decisions are made quickly and your ambition directly drives your success.
What you'll do
- Maintain and develop existing customer and supplier relationships
- Create new business opportunities in your assigned markets
- Monitor market and product developments and report to the Managing Director and Commercial Director
- Execute the commercial strategy together with Senior Traders and Traders
- Draft purchase and sales contracts with the correct Incoterms and payment terms
- Visit customers and suppliers in your markets and attend international trade fairs
- Set ambitious annual goals for your markets, customers and suppliers
What we're looking for
- Complete fluency in French and fluent English
- Currently living in the Netherlands
- A competitive, results-driven mindset combined with a collaborative attitude
- Enthusiasm for international travel
