Role Description The IT Services Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing IT service projects, including IBM and open-source implementations, from initiation through deployment and support. Day-to-day tasks include defining project scope and objectives, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality delivery aligned with client requirements. The IT Services Project Manager will communicate regularly with stakeholders, prepare project documentation and status reports, identify and mitigate risks, and manage change requests. The role also involves supporting pre-sales activities, contributing to solution design, and ensuring smooth handover to support and operations teams.
Qualifications
* Project management skills, including project planning, scope management, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
* Experience managing IT service projects involving system administration, product installation, and full solution implementation.
* Background in enterprise technologies, preferably IBM products and open-source front-end/back-end stacks.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills with internal teams and external clients.
* Proficiency in documenting requirements, preparing status reports, and maintaining clear project records.
* Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are an advantage.
* Experience in the MEA region or similar markets and familiarity with IT service delivery best practices are beneficial.
