Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Integration Developer with hands-on experience in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions across various systems and applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing data exchange processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integration flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Analyze business and system requirements to deliver efficient integration solutions
- Configure message flows, integration services, and connectors to internal and external systems
- Implement transformation logic using ESQL, Java, XSLT, or other supported tools within ACE
- Integrate applications via multiple transport protocols — HTTP, MQ, SOAP, REST, JDBC, etc.
- Develop and consume APIs; manage data transformations (XML, JSON, CSV)
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and developers to ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions
- Monitor, debug, and resolve issues related to message flow and system integration
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards
- Participate in code reviews and performance tuning of integration components
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) (v11 or later)
- Experience working with various protocols (HTTP, MQ, FTP, JDBC, etc.)
- Experience working with message queues and middleware (e.g., IBM MQ)
- Strong proficiency in ESQL, Java, XSLT, and SOAP/REST web services
- Solid understanding of SOA, API-driven architectures, and integration patterns
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
- Familiarity with API Management tools (such as IBM API Connect, Apigee, Azure API Management, etc.)
- Linux scripting, Git, Jenkins/UrbanCode,
- OpenShift/Kubernetes experience is desirable
- Basic understanding of IBM API Connect and DataPower is desirable
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication skills
