Roles & Responsibilities
- Work under the assigned management structure and report to the relevant Directorate of Operations.
- Develop and implement procedures for aircraft scheduling and crew assignment.
- Review flight plans for accuracy and coordinate flight planning activities.
- Process local and cross-country flight clearances in accordance with applicable operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate flight logs for incoming and outgoing flights, as well as individual flight records.
- Interpret, monitor, and communicate relevant weather reports and operational weather information.
- Coordinate with emergency and crash response teams in the event of aircraft emergencies.
- Develop, prepare, review, and update training materials, publications, syllabi, examinations, and other instructional documentation as required.
- Advise commanders and relevant management on operational training requirements and development needs.
- Perform instructional duties for aviation operations personnel in both classroom and field environments.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of aviation operations concepts and procedures.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aviation operations, including areas such as flight operations, scheduling, dispatch, or related activities.
- Military aviation experience is preferred.
- Qualified instructor with the ability to deliver aviation operations training in both classroom and practical field environments.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and preparing training materials, publications, syllabi, examinations, and instructional documentation.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and database applications.
- Good command of the English language, including proper grammar, written communication, and terminology relevant to aviation operations.
