About Veylinx
Veylinx is a behavioral research tech company. Our methodology, based on Nobel Prize-winning research, is used by brands such as PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz, Nestlé, Mars and L'Oréal to test and launch innovations. We simulate real purchase behavior so brands see what consumers will actually buy, not what they say they'll buy. We're a team of about 25 across the Netherlands, Morocco, the UK and North America.
The role
You run Veylinx's day-to-day finance and operations yourself. Invoices go out, suppliers and salaries are paid on time, colleagues are onboarded properly, and our external accountants get what they need. You report to our COO and work closely with our CEO. You won't manage a team. Instead, you work with our engineers to automate your own work, using AI tools every day.
What you'll do
Finance (about 60%)
- Issue client invoices from closed deals (Dutch and US entities), chase payments and keep receivables clean
- Process supplier invoices and prepare payments for approval by the directors
- Match bank receipts to invoices in Exact Online and Xero, and keep the records reconciled
- Keep deal-to-revenue tracking in HubSpot accurate: bookings, work in progress, delivered revenue
- Maintain the weekly cash overview and flag anything that needs a decision
- Prepare payroll inputs per country and coordinate with the payroll providers
- Prepare monthly document packs for our accountants and be their first point of contact
- Handle Moroccan payroll and tax administration (CNSS, IR withholding) with our local accountant
People operations (about 25%)
- Run onboarding and offboarding end to end: equipment, access, documentation, exit checklists
- Prepare contracts from our templates (the COO and counsel finalise them)
- Administer leave and absence tracking
- Support recruitment logistics
Automation and admin (the rest)
Statutory accounts, year-end close and tax filings, which our external accountants handle, or client research projects.
What you bring
- 2–4 years in finance administration or accounting, ideally in an international company or scale-up
- Solid bookkeeping fundamentals: reconciliations, receivables and payables, invoices; experience with an accounting system (Exact, Xero or similar)
- An example of a process you automated or improved yourself
- Professional English and French; Arabic is a plus
- Proactive communication: you chase, follow up and don't wait to be asked
What you'll get
- A permanent contract (CDI) with our Moroccan entity
- 15K and 25K MAD gross per month
- A fully remote role with real ownership from day one
- Smart, kind colleagues in four countries, and the satisfaction of seeing products we helped test reach the shelves
