The Finance Manager leads the Finance Department, driving financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. The role oversees cash flow and financial risk, manages relationships with banks and auditors, and provides financial leadership across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial risk across the business
- Partner with senior leadership/ownership on strategic and investment decisions
- Ensure full compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with banks, external auditors, and financial institutions
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Chief Accountant, Accounts Payable, and Procurement functions
- Drive process improvement, cost optimization, and financial control initiatives
- Present financial performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership and ownership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required); Master's degree an advantage
- MBA / CA / ACCA / CFA / CMA (preferred)
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
6-8 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership / managerial role.
