Role Description The FF&E Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The specialist will manage furniture, fixtures, and equipment selection for residential and hospitality projects, aligning choices with design concepts, budgets, and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include developing FF&E schedules, sourcing and evaluating vendors, preparing specifications, and coordinating samples, finishes, and materials with the design and procurement teams. The role involves conducting site visits to confirm measurements and installations, tracking orders and deliveries, and ensuring quality standards and timelines are met. The FF&E Specialist will also collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and suppliers to maintain consistency in style, functionality, and overall project vision.
Qualifications
- * Demonstrated experience in FF&E selection, space planning, and interior design for residential or hospitality projects.
- Strong skills in materials and finishes selection, furniture sourcing, and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and MS Office applications.
- Solid project coordination abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and follow-up on procurement and installation.
- Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and ability to balance design quality with cost and practicality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, engineers, and suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Previous experience in high-end residential or luxury hospitality projects in Egypt or the region is an advantage.
