Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Equity Dealer position for the FPI / NRI Desk – Indian Markets, based in Dubai. The role involves executing equity trades in Indian markets for FPI and NRI clients for NSE and BSE trading, ensuring timely and accurate order placement in line with client instructions and regulatory requirements. The Equity Dealer will monitor market movements, track stock performance, and provide real-time updates and execution support to clients and relationship managers. Daily responsibilities include managing client positions, handling trade confirmations, coordinating with back-office teams for settlements, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. The role also includes supporting investment ideas, adhering to compliance standards, and contributing to client service excellence in a fast-paced dealing environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Stock Market operations and market microstructure, particularly in Indian equity markets.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Trading skills, including order execution, risk awareness, and familiarity with trading platforms.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Equities, including listed stocks, indices, and equity-related products.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Finance, including understanding of capital markets, regulations, and financial instruments.
- Candidates should possess Investments-related skills, including portfolio awareness, basic valuation concepts, and client-centric execution.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., NISM, CFA level progress) are an advantage. NISM certification is mandatory.
- Prior experience as an equity dealer or in broking / capital markets, ideally handling FPI or NRI clients focused on Indian markets.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in order execution.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions while coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
