Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chemist role based at Alshams Labs - معامل الشمس in Alexandria. The Chemist will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, prepare reagents and samples, and ensure strict adherence to safety and hygiene protocols. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, documenting results accurately, and contributing to method development and optimization. The Chemist will collaborate with colleagues on research and development activities, support quality control processes for samples and products, and assist in troubleshooting analytical issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, reagent handling, and safe operation of standard lab equipment.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with experience in monitoring procedures, validating results, and adhering to regulatory and internal standards.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and resolving technical issues in testing and analysis.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) and Research skills to support method development, process improvement, and experimental design.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and good laboratory practice (GLP).
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to follow standardized protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate
