Mammoth Prospects | Hybrid | Full-time, permanent
AED 5,000–7,000 per month + commission
If you’re naturally friendly, confident talking to people and the sort of person who actually follows up when you say you will, this could be a very good fit.
We’re looking for two Business Development & Sales Executives to join our team in Dubai.
You’ll work for Mammoth Prospects on behalf of an established UK company that creates bespoke plush toys, figures and character merchandise for businesses around the world.
Think mascots turned into plush toys, branded characters brought to life, promotional products for events and merchandise people actually want to keep.
It’s a creative product, which makes the conversations fun.
What’s the job?Your role is simple in principle: find good potential customers, start conversations, understand what they need to achieve with their project and help turn those conversations into orders.
Some customers will already have an idea and contact us directly.
Others will come from your own research and outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone calls and occasionally video.
You’ll speak with brands, agencies, retailers, event organisers and other businesses, helping them work out what they want to create, what’s realistic for their budget and how we can help.
You’ll look after the relationship through the sales process until the order is confirmed.
After that, you’ll hand the project over to the UK client success team, who take care of production, delivery and ongoing support.
So no, you won’t be expected to personally manufacture 5,000 plush dinosaurs, or deal with the logistics of getting them to the event on time.
What you’ll be doingYou’ll spend part of your time finding new opportunities.
That means researching businesses, identifying the right people to speak with and starting genuine, personalised conversations rather than sending hundreds of identical messages and hoping for the best.
You’ll use email, LinkedIn, phone calls and occasionally video outreach to introduce what we do and explore whether there’s a potential project.
You’ll also handle incoming enquiries from customers who are already interested.
You’ll speak with them about their idea, what the products are for, quantities, budgets, deadlines and what they’re hoping to achieve.
From there, you’ll help explain the different options, prepare quotations with support from the wider team and keep the conversation moving until there’s a clear decision.
Good follow-up is a big part of this role.
We don’t want someone who sends a quote on Monday and then quietly hopes the customer remembers them three weeks later.
You’ll keep opportunities organised in our CRM, make clear notes, agree next steps and stay in touch with customers throughout the process.
Once a customer places an order, you’ll make sure the UK team has everything they need to take over smoothly.
Who would suit this role? You don’t need to arrive knowing everything about toys, manufacturing or plush materials.
We can teach you that.
What’s much harder to teach is being approachable, dependable and comfortable talking to people.
You’ll probably do well here if you’re someone who enjoys helping customers, has a genuine interest in their business goals and asks good questions to uncover them, and can have a professional conversation without reading from a script.
You should have excellent spoken and written English, as you’ll regularly communicate with UK and international clients by phone, email and video call.
You should also be organised enough to manage several conversations at once and disciplined enough to follow them through.
We’re especially interested in people who are:
- Warm, friendly and easy to talk to.
- Confident speaking with new people.
- Comfortable using email, phone, LinkedIn and video calls.
- Good at writing clear, professional English.
- Naturally organised and reliable with follow-ups.
- Curious and willing to ask questions.
- Comfortable discussing budgets and quotations.
- Creative enough to help customers think through possible solutions.
- Happy receiving coaching and learning new sales skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and everyday business software.
Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, account management, email marketing, lead generation or business development would be useful.
If you’ve worked in a customer-facing role and know how to make people feel comfortable and looked after, that experience can translate very well into this position.
Experience with CRM systems, LinkedIn prospecting or tools such as Loom is a bonus, but not essential.
You must already be based in DubaiThis is a hybrid Dubai-based position, combining office and remote working.
You should already live in Dubai and be comfortable travelling to the office in Silicon Oasis when required.
What you’ll getThe basic salary is AED 5,000–7,000 per month, depending on your skills and experience.
On top of that, there is commission and additional reward for new business you generate.
You’ll also receive:
- A permanent, full-time position.
- Hybrid working.
- Training on the products, systems and sales process.
- Regular coaching and support.
- Visa support if required.
- Opportunities to develop your sales career.
- Exposure to UK and international businesses.
- A genuinely varied product range where almost every customer project is different.
Most importantly, we’re not expecting you to walk in on day one knowing everything.
We’re looking for someone with the right personality and attitude who wants to get better.
How to applyPlease email hello@mammothprospects.com with your:
- CV.
- Short cover letter telling us why the role interests you and what you think you would bring to the team.
- Short introduction video telling us a little about yourself and why you think you’d be a good fit.
Nothing overly formal is required for the video.
We’re much more interested in seeing how you communicate than whether you have perfect lighting.
Please also tell us your current location in Dubai and when you would be available to start.
If you’re friendly, ambitious, good with people and want to build a proper career in sales, we’d love to hear from you.
