Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and organized Phone Coordinator to join our team. The Phone Coordinator will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, communicating with patients and their families, coordinating with caregivers, and supporting daily scheduling and homecare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to general inquiries regarding homecare services, schedules, appointments, and caregiver assignments.
- Coordinate and confirm caregiver schedules and patient visits.
- Communicate schedule changes, cancellations, and updates to patients and caregivers.
- Follow up with caregivers regarding their availability, attendance, and assigned shifts.
- Address routine patient or caregiver concerns and ensure they are directed to the appropriate team when needed.
- Escalate urgent, clinical, or safety-related concerns to the appropriate supervisor or clinical team.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, messages, scheduling updates, and follow-ups.
- Follow up on pending requests to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of homecare services.
- Maintain patient and caregiver information with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a calm, empathetic, and professional tone during challenging calls.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, healthcare, homecare, or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Strong English and Spanish communication skills (B2 English, B1 Spanish)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working with computer systems and entering information accurately.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with upset patients, families, or caregivers.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling patient information.
Working Conditions
4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Monday – Friday
Location: El Nozha St., Nasr City, Cairo
Hybrid work model after 3 months
Compensation
Up to 30,000 EGP + Quarterly Bonus
