About The OpportunityHitachi Energy, SAE. is seeking a skilled Associated Project Manager in the grid integration projects, specifically focusing on High Voltage Substations.
he will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of High Voltage Substation projects from project handover through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and final handover. The role involves coordinating with customers, engineering teams, suppliers, factories, and site personnel to ensure that project objectives related to safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
How Will You Make An Impact
- * Support the Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing HV substation projects.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and site activities to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables, and proactively follow up on critical actions.
- Interface with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Track project costs, variations, claims, and invoicing activities in coordination with finance and commercial teams.
- Manage project documentation, progress reporting, and contractual correspondence.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
- Identify project risks and opportunities and support the implementation of mitigation plans.
- Prepare project status reports and present progress updates to management and customers.
Your Background
- * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HV/EHV substation projects, power systems, or EPC projects.
- Good understanding of substation primary and secondary systems, protection & control, SAS/SCADA, and communication systems.
- Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training is an advantage.
