Role Description The Associate Professor in Business Administration is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cairo, with a combination of on-campus responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in business administration and related fields, designing and updating curricula, and mentoring learners in their academic and professional development. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at conferences, and seeking research funding where appropriate. The Associate Professor will participate in academic committees, support program development, contribute to quality assurance and accreditation activities, and provide training and workshops for learners, colleagues, and external partners. Collaboration with local industry, cooperative organizations, and other academic institutions to strengthen the institute’s impact is also expected.
Qualifications
- * Strong background in University Teaching and Training, with experience delivering business administration and related courses.
- Demonstrated expertise in Curriculum Development, including designing, reviewing, and improving academic programs.
- Proven Research skills, with a record of publications, scholarly output, or applied research projects in business or economics.
- Solid foundation in Economics and business-related disciplines relevant to cooperative and management studies.
- Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a closely related field.
- Experience supervising theses or capstone projects and supporting learner success through advising and mentorship.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience with academic quality assurance, accreditation processes, and engagement with industry or community partners is beneficial.
