Support the Development Director in the day-to-day management and coordination of ECD development projects, ensuring that project vision, design, cost, quality and programme objectives are effectively progressed from concept through delivery.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Support the Development Director in managing day-to-day development activities and multiple project workstreams.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely progress of projects.
- Assist in preparing Design Briefs, consultant scopes, RFPs, presentations and development reports.
- Review design proposals and provide development-focused comments to ensure alignment with project vision, functionality, quality and budget.
- Follow up on design development, consultant deliverables, approvals, material samples, mock-ups and outstanding actions.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives while protecting the approved design intent and quality.
- Attend design meetings, workshops and site visits and ensure actions are clearly recorded and followed through.
- Assist with authority and stakeholder coordination and track approvals and outstanding requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify key risks/issues and escalate matters requiring Development Director intervention.
- Prepare weekly project updates, dashboards, presentations and management reports.
- Undertake benchmarking, market research and feasibility studies to support development decisions.
- Support the implementation of AI and digital tools to improve design development, research, reporting and Development processes.
Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills required
Essential
5+ years relevant experience in development, design management or project management, as well as:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate or related field.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary consultants and contractors.
- Strong understanding of design, construction, cost and development processes.
- UAE / Dubai experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
