Accounts Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join a newly established operation in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous ADGM experience and a strong background in international finance and accounting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and managing the company’s finance and accounting functions and should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage finance and accounting processes for a new company.
- Oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance, and accounting operations.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records.
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement effective finance processes and controls.
- Provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Work independently and proactively to address financial and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous ADGM experience is essential.
- Strong experience in international finance and accounting.
- Experience in setting up finance and accounting functions for a new company.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and organisational skills
